Bloody Mary Shots with Parmesan Tuiles and Parma Ham Crisps

In an attempt to inject a little fancy pant-ery in to our  New Years Eve Bash, I made these mini bloody mary shots. They looked so cute as our "amuse bouche".

Lets face it, you barely need a recipe for any of these items, but just in case......

Bloody Marys -  quantities will depend on the size of your glass, and your taste.

We went light on vodka, but chuck these ingredients in a glass and you cant go wrong.

3 parts tomato juice to 1 part Vodka (Smirnoff)
Large dash of Worcester Sauce
Dash of tabasco
Squeeze of lemon
Twist of black pepper
Teeny tiny sprig of cellery

For the cheese tuiles, just put a tiny mound of finely grated cheese on a baking sheet, and smooth out.

I tried putting these in star cookie shapes, bt they were too small (about 2cm across) so all the star definition was lost.  This would probably work on a larger version as a garnish for risotto or pasta.

When they are were almost hard, but not brittle, I wrapped about the handle of a wooden spoon to get a curved shape.  Finally a little strip of crisped parma ham added.

This was just crisped up for a few minutes in a hot oven.
