Phew ! It has been ridiculously hot in Blighty for the last two weeks. We have been complaining all spring how cold and wet it is, but now us Brits can continue our funk with mother nature for melting
us with blistering heat this summer.
I'm not really complaining. The weather is fab, but too hot to do anything other than lie by the beach and drink margaritas.
What an excuse. Sadly I have neither beach nor margarita in hand.....
You will be please to hear that I have taken time out of my busy tanning schedule to search blog land for my favourite ice lollies (or popsicles as our friends across the pond call them).
These amazing concoctions look like frozen works of art. Delicious frozen cocktails, including campari, mojito and frozen mojito. I mean why wouldn't you?

A little more child appropriate, are these delish looking pineapple and strawberry popsicles.

Or these watermelon and lime from Honest Cooking, an amazing food writer living in Thailand.

And as if that wasn't enough frozen goodness to cool you down, the people at tipnut have rounded up over 100 frozen treats on a stick. They have been very handily grouped for easy browsing.

.......and finally, not a popsicle, but my favourite flavour of ice-cream....rhubarb crumble. Demonstrated expertly here by Willie from Bibendum Times:

They all sound delicious. My children however have decided a magnum and a frozen capri sun would be even easier. Philistines! I blame Mr PSGC.
