Hand painted rainbow gift wrap

Whenever I go to the diy shop, I pick up a roll or two of lining paper.  The kids use it for large art projects.  Its really thick, and best of all meters of the stuff are only a few pounds.

My acrylic inks were glinting at me as I tidied up the other day.....

....and 10 minutes later, a nifty sheet of hand decorated wrapping paper was ready.

I was pretty slap dash with the paint - no measuring, as I wanted a handmade look.

For good measure I made some matching tags.

I may never buy wrapping paper again.   This is perfect for two of Abbis friends who are sharing an art party this weekend.
