Crackers with Cheese and Honey

Simple and tasty, but beautiful - these are kind of fancy pants cheese and crackers.

A drizzle of honey and walnuts were all the makeover that these babies needed to transfer cheese and biccys from "Night in front of the TV snack" to "Elegant canapé" for girls night. With large quantities of vino obviously.  

I used these crackers..

Manchego cheese.  And don't you love this cute little devil.  I was given this as a birthday present over (ahem) 20 years ago, and he is still going strong.

A drizzle of honey.   Isn't this tin fab.  Mr PSGC was in Australia last year with a group of friends.  and seemed to think I would prefer it to the diamond earrings that one of the other wives received.

Hmm it is nice, but....

I added some sprigs of thyme and tried to cut my tomatoes like hearts as I've seen on Pinterest (didn't really work).  It does look quite pretty.

Although we like to pretend to be civilised, my friend and I actually had these while waiting for our takeaway curry to be delivered!
