Giftwrap: All sewn up

These parcels and packages were gift wrapped and fastened with neon sewing thread.

I bought some lovely neon thread earlier in the year, and haven't had a chance to make anything yet.   Boo.  

I'm so behind with my to do list, its likely to be the new year before I can make anything useful with it.....(My son is helpfully pointing out that I'm behind because I do things like sew up presents. Thanks for that.)

I had some down time yesterday, so took my sewing machine out for a spin while wrapping up these presents.  

I like the thread hanging down, but you could trim if you want it neater...or do some more decorative stitches....or just use tape like normal people!

This wrapping took a few minutes, but I would like to reinforce the paper, and do something more elaborate.  For this unstrengthened craft paper, I had to sew pretty slowly (on v low tension setting) to stop the stitches tearing.
